Moving HB Forward

Since taking office in December 2020, I've dedicated myself to improving the well-being of our Huntington Beach community. My commitment goes beyond mere words; it's reflected in my actions and the policies I advocate for. I believe in and have actively worked on:

• Keeping our city safe by backing our first responders and ensuring our community remains a safe, secure place for every resident and visitor,

• Tackling homelessness by fostering common-sense, collaborative, and sustainable approaches,

• Enhancing business conditions through streamlining and removal of red tape,

• Seeking solutions to mitigate and deal with impending budget deficits,

• Focusing on local issues (not culture wars) and improving residents’ quality of life,

• Staunchly protecting our public libraries and the free access to information they represent,

• Preserving our parks and open spaces and championing the volunteers that make them shine,

• Improving the quality of our streets,

• Enhancing mobility and safety through improved biking infrastructure,

• Improving accessibility with solutions like the Mobi-Mats on our beaches,

• Striving to improve housing access and affordability,

• Safeguarding our environment through the Sustainability Master Plan,

• Supporting the arts, and

• Facilitating meaningful community conversations that drive change(”).

Our city has faced significant challenges, with recent policies causing chaos in our local government and threatening many freedoms we hold dear.

As I seek re-election, my vision is clear—a vibrant, thriving, welcoming Huntington Beach. I'm determined to steer our city away from divisive politics and towards a future where responsible municipal governance prioritizes the core needs of our residents: addressing our aging infrastructure, thoughtfully tackling homelessness with evidence-based solutions, enhancing our community’s quality of life, and restoring functionality to our city government.

I stand ready to continue the fight against extremism and lead Huntington Beach toward a future that all of us can be proud of. Join me in this essential fight. Together, we can reclaim and enhance Huntington Beach's reputation as the true Surf City—a welcoming community where we can be neighbors again—the Real HB.
